It's the Christmas Season!

Hello Folks!

It's December, and my life is officially over till the 18th. :) I'm involved in a lot of fun stuff this season such as: Madrigal performances every day/night, and Guadalupe!

Our Madrigal show is improving little by little. Which is a good thing, because we aren't doing so hot yet. haha. Last night we went to Parklane Living in Salt Lake, and the audience was so funny. This old lady who was about 4'11", wearing a purple velour track suit, and gold chains came up to me and said,

The Madrigals at Parklane with the "purple velour tracksuit lady"

"That was wonderful, just wonderful! I didn't know what it was all about, but it was wonderful! I love your dresses, they are so attractive."

She was a kick in the pants. I loved it. Today during 3rd period we went to the home of the Reading Wranglers! It was so fun to perform for all the little kids, and see some of my old teachers. That place looks so much smaller than it used to.

Guadalupe is Viewmont's charity during the Christmas season. We provide Christmas for an underpriviledged school in Salt Lake called Guadalupe. I'm on my way to raising my 100 dollars so I can take Christmas to one of the kids. I'm so excited! :) Last year we not only provided Christmas for the children, but also paid for a heart transplant for a newborn baby. So your money isn't wasted. Every penny counts!

That pretty much sums up my life. I'll leave you with a song, that I just love...It's just a great way to start your christmas season.

WARNING: The singer is horendously tone deaf. hahaha :)

Homecoming/Harvest 2009

Riding my bike with the Madrigals in the Homecoming parade.

Homecoming was last night, and I went with Josh Crowley! It was a blast. My favorite part of the night was probably watching this couple dance during the slow songs...oh my gosh! I seriously almost peed my pants! It was the creepiest/chester-est thing I've ever seen in my entire life. They were holding eachother, while she was resting her head on his chest, and he was stroking her hair, and had the creepiest smile on his face...LOL... Man, would I have loved watching their doorstep scene, it would've gone on for an hour! Here's the pics courtesy of Sam's Mom and Dad:

Harvest was on Halloween this year, and I went with my friend J.D.! It was probably the funnest dance I've ever been to. Our group of 22 people had a murder mystery dinner, so J.D. and I dressed up as werewolves. It was a crazy good time! :) Here are the pictures courtesy of Cami's Dad.

Oh my heck!

Can i just say how much I love Ingrid Michaelson?

She is the best thing since sliced bread! I bought her "Everybody" cd last night, and the songs are pure cleverness. The lyrics and melodies are truly genius. I love it!

I suggest you all get on to your itunes and at least listen to it. You never know, it may change your life.
Caitlin <3

P.S. only 13 more days till her concert! :) :) :)

So I'm a little late blogging about all these major events that have happened this past year, so I'm going to blog about them anyways. :)

Ingrid Michaelson is my hero. She is so talented in every way, shape, and form. The concert seriously changed my life for the better. We stood almost front row and right in front of her. And I almost cried. Her lyrics and harmonies are glorious.

I couldn't hide my excitement!

Best concert ever; that's all I've got to say.

woah, it's been a while...

Hello! I haven't written since january, this is bad! It's now summer, and a few things have
happened since i last wrote. Last week Melanie and Andrew got married, which was lots of fun!
Melanie looked beautiful as usual, and the reception was pretty hilarious with all the crazy
weather C-ville has been having lately.

I also went to EFY which was a blast!! I love EFY, except the "no touching" rule. That sucked,
I'm not gonna lie. There was no hugging, high fives, escorting, or shaking hands. LAME! That
usually how i make all my friends from when i get asked to be escorted. Oh well, it still was a
good experience. I also made the variety show, in which i sang "Don't stop believen'" By Journey.
Haha, that was hilarious. :D

I recently made the Allyse's Bridal Fashion Team. I represent Viewmont. So if you ever need
coupon for a dress call me, and i will get you one!!

I also have a voice recital coming up pretty soon! It's going to be with a live jazz band, so if you
wanna come please do!! It'll be tons of fun, i am very excited.

***I posted videos on youtube "Air Conditioner" "Ah! Non Lo Dir"
to find them type in : Caitlin Air Conditioner, or Caitlin Ah! Non Lo Dir.

Interior Design

Since starting second semester, life has been going a lot more smoother. One of my new classes I'm taking is CE Interior Design. I have found that I really find the class intriguing, which is great! The only thing I dread about the class is the sound of my teacher's voice. It sounds like a high annoying soft voice, that I can never get out of my head. It seriously makes my ears ring. She's a nice lady, but my ears can't handle more than an hour at a time. Other than her voice, I'm really enjoying the class, and its many ventures.

The musical is also shifting into full gear this next coming week, which I'm very excited about. It's going to be a blast! (I hope! :P) Oh and congrats to Melanie and Andrew!! They got engaged last week! love you guys :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! It's 2009! Wah Hoo! haha.

This last Christmas season has been a great one! The first major event was my annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Party! haha, it was a great one. I had a total of 28 people there, compared to the lonely 4 people last year. I was very proud, hopefully next year there will be an even bigger turnout!

The Next major event was Christmas Eve. But it didn't start getting good till after I got off work, because this idiot came into my work and started yelling at me because I couldn't dryclean his ski suit. Honestly, you would think people would have something better to do on Christmas Eve then come to the dry cleaners, but no folks, you would be very surprised how many people come to the drycleaners on Christmas Eve. But, the good thing was that we closed at 4. So after work, I went home, and my uncle Brad, and aunt Misty came over with all my cousins, along with Grandma Kathy and Mitt. We all ate dinner and shared presents. It was great! Next I watched The Christmas Story twice, and went to bed.
Christmas Day started with my dad waking me up, because my sister and brother-in-law were coming up from provo that morning. We all opened presents (I was so lucky, I must've been a good girl this year, because I got so much good stuff!) and then went on a scavenger hunt to find Cameron, Courtney, and Mckay's hdtv's. This Christmas rocked! We then stayed home for the rest of the day and had fun celebrating Christmas at home.

On Saturday, Fuji, Lebaron, and I went sledding! We all went to Mueller juinor high, and sled down that huge steep hill. It was so scary, emily (Lebaron) and I banged heads twice cause we all went down in one three man sled! hahaha, I'll have to get some pictures from Fuji.

The Next major event was New Years eve! Fuji had a big party that I went to, I had SO MUCH FUN! I played a few rounds of Guitar Hero: World tour, and played the High School Musical Karaoke...hahaha it was hilarious! There was also fondue, and lots of good food. Lebaron and I were in a dancing mood, so Matt came with us and we went to Island View Park and had a dance party in the icy parking lot. It was a party definately!
